Executive Biography
Steven J. Caliguri is a technology executive, entrepreneur, and strategic advisor with more than twenty-five years of leadership experience spanning telecommunications, wireless infrastructure, enterprise software, IoT, and emerging technologies.
Throughout his career, Steven has successfully led organizations through growth, operational transformation, technology commercialization, and strategic expansion. His leadership experience includes executive roles within Fortune 500 organizations, high-growth ventures, and private-equity-backed businesses.
Steven currently serves as Founder and Chief Operating Officer of PHY Wireless, where he leads the commercialization of advanced wireless positioning technologies designed to improve location intelligence for IoT and connected device applications. He also serves as Board Member and Acting COO of Blue Sage Software, where he helped lead the acquisition and transformation of a specialized ERP software company serving the automotive aftermarket industry.
Prior to his entrepreneurial ventures, Steven served as Vice President of Business Development and General Manager of Wireless at Acorn Technologies, where he led technology licensing, commercialization, and business development initiatives that generated more than $100 million in licensing and strategic partnership revenue.
Earlier in his career, Steven held executive leadership roles with Leap Wireless International and QUALCOMM, leading product strategy, international operations, product management, and strategic investment initiatives that contributed to growth and competitive market positioning.
